This is the design for a summerhouse in Istria. It was designed around a listed, small two storey building in stone. I proposed a new central, lower building with slanted roof, in stone, replicating the original building and two modern block additions, to create space but not to overwhelm the original building. Some changes were made during the building approval process in Croatia. Inside the central part, a traditional wooden ceiling.
